Privacy policy
Last updated: 8 November 2026
Yarıda is a PDF reader for Android, made by 21collective. This policy explains how the app handles your data. In short: no account, we collect no personal data, and everything stays on your device.
Data we collect
None. Yarıda does not ask for an account and does not collect your name, email address, location or device identifiers. The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
What is stored on your device
- Copies of the PDF files you add to your shelf, and their cover images;
- your highlights, notes, favourites, reading progress and settings.
These are kept only in the app's own storage on your device and are never sent to a server. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Files and permissions
Yarıda only accesses files you pick: the PDF you add and the image you choose as a cover. It does not ask for camera, microphone, location or contacts permissions. Your phone vibrates briefly only when a highlight is saved and when a purchase completes.
Backups
The backup feature in Yarıda Pro writes your data into a single file, and you choose where to save it (for example Google Drive or your computer). The file is never sent to us; the terms of the service you save it to apply.
Purchases
Yarıda Pro is bought through Google Play. Your payment details are processed by Google; we never see them. The app only asks Google Play whether Pro has been purchased, which uses an internet connection. See the Google Privacy Policy for how Google handles data.
Children
Yarıda does not collect personal data from anyone, of any age.
This website
This website uses Umami, a cookie-free analytics tool, to count visits anonymously. No IP addresses or identifying information are stored. The app itself contains no analytics.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its date.
